Picture and story led activities

This is a course for young people with additional learning needs. It aims to delay alcohol use and develop harm reduction strategies. There are a range of techniques and activities which could be part of a one day intensive input or delivered over several PSHE sessions. It is a practical set of tools using games, stories, characters, role play, case studies, visual materials and props.

Most of the resources used in the picture and story led lesson plans are included in our Games and activities resource pack. These are particularly suitable for teaching in smaller groups and in many cases, due to generous grants, we are able to support settings with high numbers of children with additional learning needs with a free set of printed full colour activity resources (value £90).
