The Alcohol Education Trust is a youth charity that works across the UK supporting young people in schools, youth organisations with to help keep 11-25 year olds safe around alcohol and other substances. We provide free award-winning resources and training as well as activities, talks and information for young people that build knowledge, resilience and confidence. We are looking for a trustee to join our friendly and committed board. We are particularly seeking someone with knowledge and experience of the challenges faced by young people today, especially around alcohol and other substances such as vaping, cannabis, MDMA, Ketamine and NOS. An understanding of the impact and importance of social media in today’s world would also be particularly welcome. The role involves attending 5 meetings per year (in person or via Zoom) in Dorset and is voluntary although travel expenses can be claimed.
