The Alcohol Education Trust and DSM Foundation are hosting a day of workshops and expert speakers at their Drug and Alcohol Education Conference on the 28th June. With two hours of a choice of hands-on workshops covering years 7 – 13 and lots of valuable resources to take away (SEN activity packs worth £90 and teacher workbooks worth £45!!), the day is an essential opportunity to learn more about practical delivery of PSHE and mapping to the new DFE guidance as well as hearing from experts in the field. This is planned to be face to face with appropriate COVID safe measures. The conference will be held at the Guildhall in London for just £60 for teachers and £90 for others (including lunch). It will include a whole day of presentations and workshops on life skills and effective RSHE on evidence-based programmes and attendees will receive planning and evaluation advice for effective PSHE planning, evaluation and delivery in line with the statutory DfE guidance on RSHE.
